Function Junction has been bringing the best of the world's cooking gear to the Kansas City area since 1977. Owners Mary Merola and Rebecca Wilkie enjoy sharing their love of cooking with Kansas City, and now, through the Function Junction online cookware store, with the world! Function Junction is an enterprise, which through our relationship with customers, our store and work environment and our employees, stands for values and principles consistent with the highest standards. We, in all actions strive to be honorable, worthy of respect and admiration. Our style, atmosphere, products, and policies endeavor to foster pride and satisfaction. --Rebecca and Mary

Our History
Founded in 1977, Function Junction is a privately owned company. At one time, we operated 15 stores in various cities across a three state region including Kansas City, St. Louis, Wichita, Springfield, and Omaha. You may remember shopping with us at one of them! We operate one store in Kansas City currently, and rest assured that the same great products and customer service remain today.

At Function Junction we believe that giving back to our community is a way to build positive relationships that last forever.
Whether it is donating a basket for a silent auction, hosting a fundraiser in our new Culinary Studio, or collecting items for redistribution, we are committed to improving the lives of others around us. Just a few of our partners include Newhouse, the Salvation Army, Bishop Sullivan Center, Women With One Voice, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, Gifted Hands, Kansas City Anti-Violence Project, Shawnee Mission Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Back In the Swing, First Call, Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, Kansas City Actor’s Theatre and many more.
