Grill Smoking Plank S/2 15in
With origins in the Native American tribes of the Pacific Northwest, plank-cooking has developed into a gourmet cooking technique that is exceptionally easy to master. Plank-cooking works by charring the pre-soaked plank during cooking which then imparts the unique smokey flavor of the wood choice. The planks charcoalize and cook from the bottom up and work in the conventional oven as well as on gas/propane grills, direct-heat charcoal grills, smokers, and open pits.
| • | Each species infuses a unique flavor into the foods prepared on them. The flavors of the differing woods are often very subtle, and you will find that most recipes can be prepared on any of our grilling planks. |
| • | To keep food from sticking, brush a little cooking oil on the plank that the food will be sitting on. |
